I went to the page that has the description and reviews. The version they have is 2.7 and im trying to download it. But whenever I press Download Now it does absolutely nothing. It just stays in that poage.

if you’re using a debian system you can just “sudo aptitude install youtube-dl” and then you run “sudo youtube-dl -U” twice, first time it changes updates to github, then the second time it actually does the update.
